Mentor Training Director
Shandra Richardson is an urban planner with a specific focus in both community and economic development. She currently serves as the Director of Mentor Training and Development for Ladies of Virtue. She has been an active member in the organization for 6 years leading with organizational development initiatives, serving as a mentor and assisting with programs. She is an innovative, tenacious social entrepreneur and professional with over ten years of operational and strategic planning experience. Throughout her career she has developed both non-profit and for-profit business through developing organizational plans, implementing communication strategies, conducting analytical research, and executing project management. She currently serves as the Development & Communications Associate for Sunshine Enterprises, a non-profit organization focused on spurring economic development through supporting high-potential entrepreneurs in Chicago.
It is her faith and love for the city that motivates the work she does. She holds a bachelor of arts in Political Science and a Masters degree in Urban Affairs from Northeastern University and Boston University respectively. As a woman of Christian faith, her primary commitment is to cultivate reconciliation, growth, and transformation in the city and beyond.
