Brittany Taylor
Director of Membership and Engagement

At young age, I knew my purpose in life was to help those around me. In high school, I found my passion in mentoring and working with youth. I am forever grateful to have found LOV because the program is a constant reassurance that my purpose and passion aligned correctly.
I serve on the Membership and Engagement team and as a Mentor. As the Coordinator of the Membership and Engagement team, I assist Mironda in recruiting our volunteers and ensuring a smooth transition as they navigate their role in Ladies of Virtue. As a mentor, I challenge my mentees to step out of their comfort zone, never stop growing or learning and to never let anything or anyone deter them from their goals; just as I challenge them, they challenge me to do the same. This is why I love mentoring because my mentees help me grow just as much as I help them.
Professionally, I hold a Bachelors Degree in Community Health from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign and am pursuing my Masters in Public Health and Business Administration. I also work full-time as an administrative assistant, event planner and a math and reading tutor for children ranging from 6-16.
Personally, I love to travel and am on a mission to explore the world (30 countries before 30), I have a dog named Cooper who is my best friend and I am a member of the National Association of Colored Women's Clubs. I am also a firm believer in the Golden Rule and let the Muhammad Ali quote "Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on Earth," guide my everyday life.
