About the Program

Ladies of Virtue in collaboration with CVS Health presents ScriptHer Future, a pharmacy technician workforce initiative! Through this six-week pharmacy technician training program, participants script a future filled with real credentials, hands-on healthcare experience, and a direct path to employment. Over the course of the program, each young woman will complete coursework, receive personalized mentoring, and prepare for licensure as a registered pharmacy technician.

This program will open doors for young women interested in healthcare careers. We believe that with every lesson, every milestone, and every license earned, she will be writing a new chapter; one fueled by passion, preparation, and professional excellence.

Over this 6-week internship you will:

Work 120 paid hours from June 22 - July 31 at your local CVS Health
Earn your pharmacy technician license
Build career readiness skills

Program Expectations

To be considered for ScriptHer Future participants should:

Be between 16 - 24 years old (must be 16 years old by June 22)
Be a Chicago resident (must be able to show proof of residency through address on ID or school ID)
Fill out the Chicago Youth Work Application
Be able to work 20 hours a week between June 22 - July 31
Submit all application materials by May 18

Selection Process

Submitting an application does not guarantee selection. Applications and videos will be reviewed and notification of those selected to move to a second-round interview will be notified after application deadline.

May 18, 2026: Application and Video Submission Due

May 19, 2026: Notification of 2nd Round Interviews

May 21, 22, and 26, 2026: 2nd Round Interviews

May 27, 2026: Notification of Final Decision

May 30, 2026 or June 3, 2026: Mandatory Internship On-Boarding Day (only have to attend 1)

June 22 - July 31, 2026: Internship
