About the Program
Through public speaking opportunities, hands-on project-based learning, and passionate mentoring, we see our ladies lose their nervousness and become more confident about who they are and what they stand for. On a typical Saturday, girls take part in interactive workshops, team-building activities, and sessions led by guest speakers from a variety of careers. Build their confidence and leadership skills while strengthening bonds with sisters and mentors.

Program Expectations
Ladies of Virtue participants should:

Attend Saturday sessions (participants are allowed to miss up to 4 sessions)

Willingness to build relationships with LOV sisters and mentors

Participate in LOV sessions
​Selection Process
Prior to joining Ladies of Virtue, potential participants must attend a mandatory information session and an interview (held in September). We do not select girls based on academic achievements. Decisions are based on willingness to participate in all LOV activities, interview, commitment, positive attitude and the number of spots available for the upcoming year.
​During our 9-month program year, LOV Participants:
Learning & Growth:

Complete 35+ hours of leadership development training

Get exposed to 5+ different careers

Increase confidence, communication, and leadership skills
Opportunities:

Attend at least 2 college tours through College and Beyond

Earn 12+ service-learning hours by researching, planning, and completing a community project

Get assistance with summer job/internship placement (girls 16+)
Community & Belonging:

Get partnered with a mentor devoted to her success

Gain access to LOV’s full network of mentors
