Brandy Casseus
Program Facilitator

Brandy Casseus is a youth development leader, educator, and artist committed to creating transformative experiences for young people, with a deep focus on uplifting and empowering Black girls. Her work centers identity, voice, and leadership, ensuring that young people are not only supported, but seen, heard, and valued in the spaces they occupy.
With a background in education and social-emotional learning, Brandy specializes in curriculum design, facilitation, and program leadership. She has led youth-centered initiatives that blend dialogue, reflection, and hands-on engagement to support personal growth and confidence. Her approach is rooted in building meaningful relationships and creating environments where young people feel safe to explore who they are and who they are becoming.
Her long-standing commitment to Black sisterhood and girlhood is reflected in the spaces she has created for Black girls and women to gather, express themselves, and build community. She created She Speaks, a workshop series in partnership with Girls Inc. that supported girls in developing their voices and culminated in a public open mic. She founded and led BlackGirlChatt, a personal and professional organization that hosted networking and creative events, as well as coworking experiences for Black women. She also produced CROSSING, an innovative, interdisciplinary art exhibition that centered identity, connection, and the experiences of Black women through multiple creative forms.
As an artist, Brandy brings a deep understanding of expression and storytelling into her work, using her practice as a tool for connection, reflection, and empowerment.
