Daphanie Bibbs

Daphanie Bibbs was born and raised in Chicago, IL. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Special Education Degree at the University of Missouri- Columbia in May 2017. While at the University of Missouri, she received numerous academic scholarships, completed the Emerging Leaders Program, was secretary of NABSE and volunteered at various agencies and organizations in the Columbia community. 

 

After spending 4 years teaching in Missouri, earning a Master of Science degree in Educational Leadership and serving as the Assistant Director of “I See You!” Teacher of Color Support Network, she has relocated back to Chicago to pursue her passion of educating youth in low socioeconomic communities. Currently, Daphanie is a Middle School Diverse Learning Educator at Oliver S. Westcott School and holds the position of Director of Mentor Training of Ladies of Virtue. She aspires to become an Elementary School Principal and open her very own K-12 learning academy in the near future. In her free time, Daphanie loves to entertain her 6-year old daughter, advocate for families of color, facilitate meetings, read and mentor others.
