Alexis Nimmers

Alexis Nimmers developed a passion for communication and community engagement while earning her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Missouri.

 

In 2013, she moved to Chicago to pursue her professional aspirations, building a strong foundation in marketing, project management, and leadership. Dedicated to personal and professional growth, she later earned an MBA in Marketing from Roosevelt University.

 

Outside of her professional work, Alexis is deeply committed to empowering young women. As a mentor and Program Facilitator with Ladies of Virtue (LOV), she guides girls in building confidence, strengthening leadership skills, and exploring their career paths. Her dedication to mentorship is driven by a mission to uplift the next generation of female leaders, particularly those from underrepresented communities.

 

Through both her career and community involvement, Alexis is committed to creating opportunities for growth, advancement, and empowerment. She is passionate about helping others realize their full potential through self-confidence and the strength of community.
