Fall STEM Program

(6th - 8th Grades)

Ladies of Virtue’s STEM and Beauty Fall Program promotes self-love, confidence, and beauty while exposing
middle school girls to STEM careers.

Applications accepted until August 30th (or when spots are filled)!

Begins September 1st -29th (5 weeks) every Wednesday from 4pm to 5.30pm
Every week will be fun and interactive! / Materials provided! / FREE!
One of our peer mentors will call all applicants for an interview and confirm enrollment
Week 1: Personal Beauty: Learn about color compatibility and how skin tones compliment different colors. Students will be introduced to various careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
Week 2: Makeup: Discuss how makeup is made and learn how to create lip gloss from natural ingredients.
Week 3: Hair: Learn about different types of hair textures and why hair responds to different weather.
Week 4: Body Care: Learn to use critical skill thinking and a practical application of chemistry to make bath bombs.
Week 5: Speak: Learn the art of public speaking and how to spread your message about beauty to the world.
