Khara Quiney has been a servant leader with Ladies of Virtue for the past 6 years - 4 years as a mentor and 2 years on the Leadership Team.

Khara was born and raised in Ypsilanti, MI and grew up in a very supportive environment where she was able to thrive academically and athletically. After starting her professional career in engineering at Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing, NA, she later moved to Chicago and earned her M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University. After earning her Project Management Professional (PMP) credential in 2017, she is currently leading healthcare technology project teams at Blue Cross Blue Shield (Chicago Headquarters).

Khara has always had a heart for serving her community in different capacities. She is very passionate about Education as well as Physical and Mental Health initiatives, which has led her to work with organizations such as: Rape Victim Advocates  - now known as Resilience (Medical Advocacy),
Run This Town Chicago (Fitness Ambassador), Revive the Dream (Educational Leadership Cohort Member), Delta Literacy Project (Math/Reading Tutor),  and most recently with NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness).
